Noo! There is no way we can miss our 10th anniversary in 2018 - I'll set my alarm clock to 355 days from now.

Happy 2015 - the year, in which the youngest member of our development team finally turns 30!?
Hooray for youth wasted in style!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year y'all! And what Dirk said: I am very glad the whole happy Shattenreyze family is still around and together! I guess if we finish the game at some point, I'll really start wondering what's missing. But there's probably nothing to fear, by 2015 I will have overcome my separation anxiety...  Wink

Well, technically, the Fats Waller episode has to be the first one, since it takes place in the motel *cough* - of course we could visit a run-down jazz club to maybe get something we still need (we are still following the system of: nestor + presonal item on earth + place of death + NimBus, right?). His hat maybe? The cloth he wiped his sweaty face with? Mila will be able to tell Eric where the jazz club is (she has visited it before) where his "relics" are kept in a kind of shrine; this will make for nice distraction and/or dialogue puzzles. It could also be a firs topportunity to play as Mila, because they won't let Eric enter the club without shoes, and he refuses to put some on.

                                                            B
So the non-linearity would look like this: A - | - D
                                                            C

I'll call up David and we'll do the cat and Mila tune soon, probably next week. Could you briefly explain the note triggering again, or point me to the right thread? I forgot what Midi notes have to be used to display the dropping tiles...

About the fanfare: I think I'd rather make it a kind of low-fi noise bleep coming out of the device, so it stays in line with our incredibly strict Dogma rules. Expect sounds soon!

Alright, thanks!

Just tried it with sound, it's rather unplayable, sadly. I did score quite a lot, but it didn't feel like it had anything to do with the song - I'll try again on another computer. And I think I'll just leave the design up to you - blinking lights might really be too confusing, but I would still enjoy a seven-segment score display - and I'd keep the voltometer as a progress display as well.

Cheap 80s electronic trash with lots of useless blinking lights and 7-segment-displays is what the world needs.

I'll play the rhythmgame soon and tell you how it went, I already ran a test without sound and it worked pretty well under WINE - now I'll chek it out with sound.

Voil, trs bon + dieu est mort!

Welcome on board, Monsieur Ouxx! I hope you don't mind that a lot of the story discussion has been switched to German somewhere along the way, if you are curious about the story and this and that, I can write up a rough outline next weekend - basically everything you can read in the forum about the story in English is either obsolete or, uhm, wrong, haha.

I guess it depends on who the two decide to fight: Lucius or the Arbiter - so it would either be 80s wave rock or 70s southern psychedelic rock.

Ha, that's great. A spaced-out psychedelic arbiter, it will be lots of fun writing dialogue for him. And fighting him, of course. And maybe redeeming him, making Lucius the next arbiter?

Jep. Seattle is einfach nur Grunge und white kids, die mal fr fnf Jahre auf den Putz hauen. Chicago ist irgendwie mystischer.
